Elmo Live

My family likes to travel a lot and we are always on the look out for toys that will be great to keep our four year old busy and not asking how long it is until we get to where we are going.  We also try to find toys that are small so our son can play with them in the hotel room.  We don’t have a lot of space in our car either, so we need just a few toys that are versatile enough to keep him entertained and little enough to pack.

To get an idea of new toys to take on our winter vacation this year, I looked at some toy websites. I found quite a few Elmo Live reviews, which I thought were interesting.  Our son just loves anything that has to do with Elmo, so I went to a few different websites to read an Elmo Live review on each one, just to get a perspective of what this toy can do and if it would be good for our trip.

This Elmo Live toy is one of the best I’ve seen out on the market so far.  With it, our son will have his own little friend to ride along with during the hours of driving we will have to do.  It will almost be like they are communicating back and forth when our little guy tickles Elmo’s tummy or squeezes his hand.  He’ll always get a response from Elmo and that’s what makes this Elmo Live toy great.

Another great thing about this new Elmo Live toy is that we all will be happy to interact with him.  Sometimes on road trips, the toys our son plays with get old really fast.  They really have little variation to what they can do and become repetitive pretty quickly.  We are usually asking from the front seat for him to find something else to play with.  I can’t say that after an hour or so, we won’t get tired of hearing Elmo giggle from the back seat,  but he will be a great deal more pleasant to listen to than a lot of the other toys my son has to keep him busy.

Our son will love to listen to Elmo tell jokes and stories about his experiences on Sesame Street.   He’ll even be able to pinch his nose and watch him sneeze.  The great thing about this toy is that even if our son gets him to do his little song and dance routine, he won’t jiggle so much that he falls off the car seat.  He just sits down, stands up, and sits down again.  Our little boy can even hold him while he sings his song.

I’m glad I decided to read the first Elmo Live review I came across because it led to more and I was able to make an informed decision on what to buy my son for our trip.  You really have to think through these things because; ten hours in a car with a four year old can get pretty hairy.
