I love Elmo, and it’s hard to admit that because I’m 19. I have tons of Elmo toys, from Tickle Me Elmo to Elmo Knows Your Name. I love to buy Elmo stuff, from Elmo sheets to Elmo shower curtains, and truly like having Elmo in my life. I know it’s silly, but when you like a character, you like a character. There’s nothing that can really change that. I get really excited whenever I hear that another Elmo toy is coming out, because that means I get to add to my collection. I always buy one Elmo toy to use, and one to collect. My collection is far, far too big.
It took me some time to get two of these dolls, because they are so popular, but it was definitely worth the wait. My neighbor’s six year old daughter came over when I was opening Elmo Live and helped me to start the toy up. Elmo does everything. This Elmo moves around, dances, sings, and even sits with his foot on his knee. Actually, that is how I have him posed right now! My boyfriend even liked this Elmo, and he’s very intolerant of my Elmo obsession.
If you’re looking to collect Elmo, then this is the toy to collect. He’s definitely a fun toy to play with, but he’s destined to become a collector’s toy as well. If you’re looking for a toy to play with your children with, Elmo Live is definitely that toy. The Elmo Live reviews have it right when they say that the parents have more fun with this toy than the kids do sometimes, as I’ve had a hard time not playing with him every day. If you love Elmo, or want to make your kids really happy this holiday season, the Elmo Live doll is definitely the way to do that!
