Elmo Live Reviews

Buying presents for your child is usually a very difficult thing, especially when you’ve got a kid who isn’t instantly enraptured by one specific thing or another. My son is one of those kids. He likes some things, and enjoys others, but nothing really keeps his attention for too long, so buying presents for him is always an exercise in futility, as he tends to enjoy it for a few hours and then throw it away.

I was pretty skeptical when I heard about the this toy, but all of the Elmo Live reviews said that it was an absolutely amazing toy. I wasn’t too sure. I mean, I knew that Elmo was huge, but would my four year old son love it as much as the reviewers said he would? Wouldn’t he get bored of hearing the same stories every time? Wouldn’t he get sick of the toy as quickly as he did all of the other ones?

Apparently not. We’ve had the toy for two weeks now and all I’ve heard for the past two weeks is, “Elmo wants to tell you a story!” and other things in the high pitched lovable voice. My son can’t seem to put Elmo down! He even wanted Elmo to sit with us for dinner a few times! I can’t remember the last toy that we got that my son loved as much as he’s loved this toy, and I’m extremely grateful to the maker of the toy for making the batteries last so long – now I don’t have to go bankrupt trying to keep Elmo laughing and telling stories! This is one toy that will be in my household for many more years, and that I will gift to someone when my son finally gets too old for it, as it’s definitely a treasure.
