I don’t have kids, which means that I have absolutely no idea what they like. When my best friend’s son was turning 3, I wasn’t sure what to buy him. My best friend said that he liked everything Elmo, and so I went out and bought Elmo Live, only because it was the newest toy out there and the one thing I was pretty sure he didn’t already have.
When he opened the toy at his birthday party he seemed really happy. My best friend said that I shouldn’t have spent that amount of money on a toy that would never be played with, but I didn’t know what to buy! She, apparently, was wrong and doesn’t understand the power of Elmo Live. Her son Evan has played with this toy over and over again since he got it for his birthday. She has sent tons of photos showing him playing with Elmo on the living room rug and has said that he even tells stories to Elmo, just like Elmo tells stories to him.
I don’t know what’s normal when it comes to kids toys, but this one seemed really high tech, yet easy to use, just like the Elmo Live reviews said it was. Evan was able to get Elmo working really easily, and my best friend even went online and filled out the official adoption form, which Evan insisted he have placed on his wall. I’m really happy that this toy was invented, because it seems like such a great one! I even got a thank you card from Evan with a huge smile and a drawing of him and Elmo together on it. Thanks for making such a wonderful toy!
