Elmo Live Reviews

Have your children ever had a toy that you absolutely loathed? Mine have. His name was Tickle Me Elmo, and I couldn’t stand him. We jumped late onto the Elmo bandwagon, as my kids are five and three, but that giggling, wiggling red puppet annoyed me to no ends. Oh my kids loved him! They took him everywhere and he was the only toy that simply had to have batteries or else a terminal meltdown would begin.

When my husband saw that Elmo Live was going to be sold, he immediately jumped on the bandwagon and started whining for the toy. You’ve never seen a 35 year old man whine so hard! I, however, was sick of all things Elmo and refused. Then he came home with Elmo Live anyway.

I wish I would have read the Elmo Live reviews instead of believing that the toy was inherently evil incarnate immediately. This toy is absolutely amazing. It not only giggles and laughs, much like the Tickle Me Elmo doll did, it also moves all around. It talks, sings, tells stories, and is truly interactive with my children. Both my three year old and my five year old love this toy, and we’re just about ready to get another one, because neither wants to let the toy go into the other’s bedroom! If you’re reading this review and were like me, not an Elmo fan, don’t let that color your decision. This toy is nothing like the previous Elmo toy and is, in fact, a new breed of cats. It is one of the most amazing toddler toys I’ve seen come out yet and I am so glad that my husband purchased it, even if it was behind my back!
