This Halloween, make your child giggle with glee as they roam the streets in search of goodies as whom else, Elmo. They can also take along their Fisher Price Elmo Live doll to keep them company while they scoop up all those treats. Elmo has been the best friend to so many children over the years that it is no wonder why kids still love to dress up like him.
Of course, the last day of October is not the only time your little one can run around, pretending to be their favorite little red monster in their Elmo costume. Play time and dress up time can be perfect opportunities for your son or daughter to grow their imagination with Elmo, too. Plus, with the Fisher Price Elmo Live doll at their side, they will have hours of great fun right at their feet. They can go wherever their mind’s eye takes them.
A few different versions of the Elmo costume are available to choose from. Which one you choose depends on what age and size your child is. There are ones that fit babies, toddlers and children up to size 6. Some are full bodysuits and warm, while others only cover the main parts of the body, allowing other seasonal clothing to be worn with them.
Either way, your child will be thrilled to be representing their beloved monster.
There are a couple of different types of the toddler Elmo costume that are advertised on many retail websites. There is the entire bodysuit, which includes the hood, which is Elmo’s head, and the feet. This one is an officially licensed Elmo costume. It washes well and looks to be comfortable and practical. Another toddler size version is made of material that isn’t as thick and it does not include the feet. Your child will need to wear red socks and shoes. It is more lightweight than the first one and is good to wear in areas where the weather is warmer during most of the year. Again, the Fisher Price Elmo Live doll will be a must for any toddler to have the greatest Elmo experience.
For children in the size 4-6 bracket, there is a hooded vest for them to wear. Of course, Elmo’s face is on the hood like it is on the toddler costume but there are no arms and the bottom only goes down to the top of the legs. This allows the child to wear a long sleeve or short sleeve shirt and pants or shorts with their costume. Although they are not entirely clothed in red fluff, the Elmo effect is still there.
The most versions that are available in an Elmo costume seem to be for babies. From full furry bodysuits to sets that are almost like red long johns and a hood with big eyes on top. There is no end to the creativity evidently shown in the craftsmanship of these costumes. With the new Fisher Price Elmo Live doll about to hit stores, it’s no wonder that retailers want to get in on the Elmo action.
